Terms of service
The conditions under which we book, ticket and advise.
Bookings and quotations
A booking is confirmed only once a written confirmation has been issued by Travel Nauts and the agreed deposit received. Quotations remain valid for seven days unless stated otherwise.
Visa outcomes
We prepare and lodge applications to the highest standard, but the decision rests entirely with the issuing embassy or consulate. Our consultancy fee covers the work performed and is not contingent on approval. Government and embassy fees are non-refundable.
Payment
Air tickets are payable in full at issuance. Tour and safari packages require a deposit at confirmation with the balance due 30 days before departure.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation terms follow the policy of the airline, lodge or ground operator concerned. Where we hold funds not yet committed to a supplier, they are refunded less an administrative fee.
Travel documents and insurance
Clients are responsible for holding a valid passport with sufficient validity and blank pages, and for any required vaccinations. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and mandatory on gorilla trekking itineraries.
Liability
Travel Nauts acts as an agent for airlines, lodges and transport operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, nor for delays or losses arising from events beyond reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
